Former BWC Academy Forward Signs NHL Contract

Former BWC Academy and current Penticton Vees forward Ryden Evers has signed an NHL Entry Level Contract with the Seattle Kraken.

Undrafted to the NHL, the Burnaby, BC forward has 31 goals and 38 assists in 60 WHL games with the Vees this season, his first season in the WHL.

Evers joined the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) for the 2018/19 U15 season, tallying 32 points in 30 games with BWC Academy. The following U15 Prep season he tallied 30 points in 27 games.

After recording 9 points in 5 U16 Prep games in 2020/21, Evers had 36 points in 24 U18 Prep games during the 2021/22 season. He would add four points in five playoff games as BWC Academy were crowned 2022 CSSHL U18 Prep Western Champions.
